Line 1 Overview

Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 is the network's first and, so far, only operational corridor, running 11.10 km between CBD Belapur and Pendhar across 11 stations, fully elevated.

From CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai's administrative and business hub, the line runs through RBI Colony and Belpada into the Kharghar residential belt at Utsav Chowk, Kendriya Vihar, Kharghar Village, and Central Park, then continues through Pethpada and Amandoot to Pethali-Taloja before terminating at Pendhar. Line 1 does not yet have an interchange station.

Peak-hour trains on Line 1 run at regular intervals, and a rechargeable smart card is accepted at all stations. MetroYatra provides station-wise train timings, Line 1 metro fare, platform details, and route map for all 11 stations.

Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 Crosses 1.15 Crore Ridership In Two Years By November 2025

Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 recorded 1.15 crore commuters in the two years since its November 17, 2023 launch, CIDCO said on the corridor's second anniversary in November 2025. The 11.1 km Belapur-Pendhar line has 11 stations and was formally dedicated to the nation on January 12, 2024. Trains run every 10 minutes at peak hours and every 15 minutes off-peak, with fares between Rs 10 and Rs 30. CIDCO credited improved frequency and a 2024 fare cut for the ridership surge.

Navi Mumbai Metro Cuts Fares By 33% On Belapur-Pendhar Line 1 From September 2024

CIDCO cut Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 fares by up to 33% with effect from September 7, 2024, on the Belapur-Pendhar corridor. Under the revised structure, tickets cost Rs 10 for the first 0-4 km, Rs 20 for 4-8 km, and Rs 30 beyond 8 km, down from a maximum fare of Rs 40 for the full Belapur-Pendhar stretch. CIDCO said the fare cut was meant to get more commuters acquainted with the service.
