Bengaluru Metro Green Line – Stations, Route Map & Timings

Bengaluru Metro Green Line is Namma Metro's north-south corridor, running 33.46 km between Madavara and Silk Institute across 32 stations. Central sections opened in 2011 alongside the Purple Line, with later phases extending the line north to Madavara and south to Silk Institute.

Running south from Madavara, the Green Line passes through Nagasandra, Peenya Industry, Yeshwanthpur, and Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic, then through Lalbagh, Jayanagar, Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road, and Banashankari before terminating at Silk Institute. Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station, Majestic connects the Green Line to the Purple Line and KSR Bengaluru City Railway Station, while Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road is the interchange with the Yellow Line toward Electronic City. Peenya and Yeshwanthpur anchor the line's northern industrial belt, Lalbagh gives direct access to Bengaluru's historic botanical garden, and Jayanagar and Banashankari serve well-established, densely populated south Bengaluru neighbourhoods.

Peak-hour trains on the Green Line run about every 8 minutes between 7:00 AM-10:00 AM and 5:00 PM-9:00 PM, dropping to roughly every 10-15 minutes off-peak, in 6-coach formations. The Namma Metro Smart Card and NCMC are accepted at all stations for faster boarding than single-journey tokens.
