Bengaluru Metro Yellow Line is Namma Metro's newest corridor, running 19.15 km between Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road and Bommasandra (Delta Electronics Bommasandra) across 16 stations. It opened on 10-11 August 2025, giving Bengaluru's Electronic City IT hub its first direct metro connection and cutting congestion on the Hosur Road corridor.
Running south from Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road — its interchange with the Green Line — the Yellow Line serves Jayadeva Hospital, BTM Layout, and Central Silk Board, then continues through Bommanahalli, Hongasandra, and Hosa Road into the Electronic City area, serving Beratena Agrahara, Electronic City, and Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara before terminating at Delta Electronics Bommasandra. The line currently has no interchange other than Rashtreeya Vidyalaya Road.
The Yellow Line launched with 3 trains and is being scaled up toward full-frequency service as ridership grows; initial daily ridership was projected at around 25,000, expected to climb well past that as more trains join the fleet. MetroYatra tracks current train timings on this page. Trains run in 6-coach formations, and the Namma Metro Smart Card and NCMC are accepted at all 16 stations for faster, discounted boarding than single-journey tokens. MetroYatra provides station-wise train timings, Yellow Line metro fare, platform details, and route map.
