Line 9 Overview

Mumbai Metro Line 9 is a new extension of Line 2A, running 4.68 km between Dahisar East and Kashigaon across 4 stations, opened in April 2026.

From Dahisar East, Line 9 runs through Pandurang Wadi and Miragaon before terminating at Kashigaon, extending the western-suburb metro network toward Mira-Bhayandar. Dahisar East is a three-way interchange with Line 2A and Line 7.

Line 9 is currently partially operational, with a longer extension toward Mira Road planned to eventually add roughly 50,000 to 1 lakh daily riders to the combined Line 2A and Line 7 network.
