Ahmedabad Metro Yellow Line runs from Motera Stadium to Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, covering 21 elevated stations across 23.84 km. The corridor opened in phases as part of Ahmedabad Metro's Phase 2 - the Motera to Sector 1 stretch entered service in September 2024, and the final Sachivalaya-to-Mahatma Mandir section opened in January 2026, completing the line's full run from Ahmedabad into the Gujarat state capital.
The Yellow Line travels north from Motera Stadium through Koteshwar Road, Vishwakarma College, Tapovan Circle, Narmada Canal, and Koba Circle into Gandhinagar, serving Infocity and Sector 1 before reaching the government and education belt at Sachivalaya, Akshardham, and Sector 16, and terminating at Mahatma Mandir. GNLU station is the interchange with the Violet Line, which branches off to GIFT City, while Motera Stadium connects the Yellow Line back to the Red Line. The corridor crosses from Ahmedabad district into Gandhinagar district, linking Gujarat's commercial capital with its state capital.
