Delhi Metro Airport Express - Orange Line – Stations, Route Map & Timings

Delhi Metro Airport Express — also known as the Orange Line — is a high-speed dedicated metro corridor connecting New Delhi railway station to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25, with 7 stations over 24.9 km. The Airport Express provides the fastest public transit link to Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport), covering the New Delhi to IGI Airport T3 section in approximately 19 minutes. The line is operated by DMRC and originally opened in February 2011, with the Yashobhoomi extension added in 2023.

The Airport Express serves New Delhi, Shivaji Stadium, Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Aerocity, IGI Airport (Terminal 3), Dwarka Sector 21, and Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25. Delhi Aerocity and IGI Airport (T3) are the key destinations for air travellers, while Dwarka Sector 21 provides onward interchange with the Blue Line. The New Delhi station provides interchange with the Yellow Line and direct access to the New Delhi Railway Station. Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 serves the India International Convention and Expo Centre.

The Airport Express runs at a maximum speed of 120 km/h, higher than standard DMRC lines. Standard metro fare structures apply, and check-in facilities for certain airlines are available at New Delhi station. Trains run at 10–15 minute intervals.
