Rapid Metro Gurugram is a light rapid transit system serving the Cyber City corporate and commercial hub of Gurugram, Haryana. Operating across a 10.58 km loop-format network with 11 stations, the Rapid Metro connects Sector 55-56 to Phase 3 via Sikanderpur and Cyber City. The system is fully elevated and grade-separated on standard-gauge track, operated by DMRC on behalf of the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMTC), and opened in phases between 2013 and 2017.
The Rapid Metro loop serves Sector 55-56, Sector 54 Chowk, Sector 53-54, and Sector 42-43 before reaching Phase 1, then continues to Sikanderpur, Phase 2, Belvedere Towers, Cyber City, and Moulsari Avenue, closing the loop at Phase 3. Sikanderpur is the key interchange with the Delhi Metro Yellow Line - one of the busiest inter-modal hubs in Gurugram - connecting the DMRC network to the Rapid Metro catchment area. The loop primarily serves the IT, BPO, and corporate office towers clustered around Cyber City and Golf Course Road.
Train frequency on the Rapid Metro is 7-10 minutes during peak hours. Trains run in 3-coach formations.
