Delhi Metro Blue Line: Yamuna Bank Station Approach Road Shut As River Crosses Danger Mark
The approach road to Yamuna Bank metro station on the Blue Line became inaccessible on September 4, 2025 after the Yamuna river's water level crossed the danger mark following heavy rain across Delhi-NCR. DMRC issued an advisory stating the station remained operational for trains and interchange, but that floodwater prevented passengers from entering or exiting at ground level. Commuters were advised to use alternate routes while trains continued running toward Vaishali, Noida and Anand Vihar Terminal.
