Delhi Metro Phase 4 Green Line: Inderlok–Indraprastha Extension Viaduct Crosses Yamuna by September 2025
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) confirmed in September 2025 that the elevated viaduct for the Phase 4 Green Line (Inderlok–Indraprastha) extension had successfully crossed the Yamuna River, marking a major construction milestone. The 12.58 km corridor will have 10 stations and extends the existing Green Line eastward from Inderlok through Shastri Park to Indraprastha. The extension creates the first direct metro link between the Green Line network (west Delhi) and the Blue Line / Violet Line interchange at Indraprastha, opening new cross-city connections. Key stations will include Laxmi Nagar and Indraprastha, where transfers to the Blue Line and Violet Line become possible. DMRC targets commissioning of the full Green Line Phase 4 extension by 2027.
