Noida-Greater Noida Metro is the rapid transit network connecting Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh, operated by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) independently of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The network's single Aqua Line spans 29.7 km with 21 Noida Metro stations, opened in January 2019 as Uttar Pradesh's first dedicated NCR metro corridor. Trains run from 6:00 AM to 10:45 PM daily in 4-coach formations.
The Aqua Line serves the residential and institutional belt between Noida and Greater Noida, including Noida Sector 51, Pari Chowk, Knowledge Park 2, and Depot Station in Greater Noida, connecting commuters to IT offices, residential sectors, and educational institutions along the corridor. Noida Sector 51 provides an interchange to the Delhi Metro Blue Line, connecting the Aqua Line to the wider Delhi NCR metro network for onward travel to Noida City Centre and Delhi.
Metro fare on the Aqua Line is calculated on a distance-slab basis, independent of Delhi Metro fares, with the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) accepted at all stations. Peak-hour train frequency is approximately 7-10 minutes. For travel assistance, the NMRC helpline is available at 1800-180-0247. MetroYatra provides station-wise train timings, Noida-Greater Noida Metro route map, metro fare, and platform details for all 21 stations on the Aqua Line.
